For whatever reason, youtube keeps recommending some video from November about Twilight… fans are still commenting on it as recent as hours ago saying it’s their life. Here is one comment:
“There are many reasons to love the twilight series. Here are some reasons why:
1:All the books are romantic
2:They all have some action in it
3:Every page you read, every word, ever LETTER u can’t stop reading it!
5:Some parts of the books are funny expecially when in breaking dawn when jacob is telling the story These are just some reasons you should atleast read on ebook or even a page of the twilight saga I have been bitten by the twilight saga”
Every LETTER???
There is no 4.
But guys come on just read one page, it’ll be so amazing.
I’m just grumpy because Dollhouse was terrible, again I guess they programmed Sierra to be “really good at being kidnapped” ???
On a better note, here is a cool video I did with this sweet website called Animoto:
Jesus fuck. I watched the movie Twilight tonight. It was so completely, inexcusably, and undeniably terrible that I just can’t articulate how much it sucked. Oh wait, yes I can: Twilight, as a series, is extremely angsty and outrageous vampire smut. The codependency of the two main characters is disturbing, and the stalking is scary. With that acknowledged, the movie managed to be all that, plus be poorly written and directed.
In comparison to the book, the characters had too much emotion where there should have been none, and not enough when there should have been more. But there is no comparison, because this is simply a companion to the books. You cannot watch this movie and hope to take away a self-standing and logical plot. Instead, they hit major plot quotes while dropping all the parts in between explaining how the characters got there, leaving confusing mood swings or, worse, accusations of mood swings where there were none (because they left out all that inconvenient passage of time). This will satisfy fans looking to jerk off to all their ~favorite book moments~ but there is absolutely no reason to have an entire scene dedicated to vampire baseball. Yeah, I said it: VAMPIRE. BASEBALL.
And that will be the last you will everrrr hear from me about Twilight.
I managed to control the crisis within my holiday break, but it threatens to spill over, maybe a little bit.
Okay, here goes:
I read the entire Twilight series.
Yes, it is an angsty teenage vampire love story, and yes I know the movie got terrible reviews. But I just HAD TO KNOW. I don’t know why, but I just needed to see what the fuss was about. And then I took in all… wait, let me check… 2460 pages of the series over the course of 4 days. I took the most time listening to the beginning of the first book, just to see how it would go. I liked the narrator’s voice and acting. Then it became unbearably slow and I switched to the print version. Good thing, too. I could actually take off 200 pages of that count because the second book had some really boring bits.
I don’t know what’s wrong with me Stupid vampire drama!! At least I finally caught up with it after the series was finished. That’s the best way to do it.
