Well, I’m sick. I woke up yesterday at 9am feeling like crap, after tossing and turning. I ended up getting about 4-5 hours of sleep then. I got about the same this morning, which sucks, because I’m trying to get on a sleep schedule, and I shouldn’t be forcing myself awake if my body can’t handle it. Anyway, yesterday it was nausea and weakness, and today it’s a raging sore throat. Ugh. I really hope I’ll feel up to talking in my cam show, because swallowing is quite the pain.

I mostly spent yesterday going through videos and powerleveling in Persona 4, which consists of finding a monster who does nothing but summon other monsters… as long as I don’t kill the first guy, I have an endless stream of experience I read you’re supposed to do it alone, but fuck it, my team mates need experience, too.

Ugh. It’s 9am again and I’m sleepy… again. My alarm’s actually set for 11am, so I might try to go back to sleep. I guess I’ll try that right now I’m a terrible sleeper.

I’m back!  And have been shamelessly playing Persona.  Or at least I was… I blew a fuse I beat a boss and got through a million cutscenes and the power just blew I had to do the fight all over again… luckily it went well and I was able to skip through the cutscenes pretty quickly.  Turns out there were even more cutscenes after them.  They were funny

Ummm so I mentioned I started listening to “The Perks of Being a Wallflower.”  Well, I got through about a half hour of the audio version when I had the sinking feeling that this book was not intended for my age group.  The character in the book was 14 and a freshman in high school.  Clue number one.  I hadn’t looked up anything about the book, so then I did and found out they sell it as young adult fiction.  Ahhh.  I got through a third of it, anyway.  I’m considering just finishing it.  But unless someone barges in with a glowing review, I think I will abstain and assume that Catcher in the Rye is a better coming-of-age story.

Even though it was Christmas gifts and all, I took my cousins out shopping for some books the day after Christmas… and refused to buy them any young adult crap.  The youngest is 17 for god’s sake.  I was reading plenty of adult fiction years before then.  Christmas or no, I will not be held responsible for their dumbing down of literature.  Bah humbug.  They got me back by then picking out stuff from the Romance section And then they told me they hadn’t read 1984 And then I found out that they were sold out of it So I got them Love in the Time of Cholera and some romance stuff and called it a day.  And promised to ship 1984.  I swear I have a copy but I think I’ll just buy a new one.

I have new baking pans as a gift They are beautiful and I hope to be baking lovely things in them.  I also got to pick out some knee-high socks from my favorite sock store.  Most are respectable argyle.  ONE pair is a horrid green with black stripes design.  I cringe when I see it So great.

Just a note to talk about how amazing Persona 4 is Persona 3 never made me laugh so much, and the characters are really likable this time around It’s a murder mystery in a small town where we find out that people are getting thrown into their tv and go to this tv land place, where their repressed personality comes out and kills them… it turns out that most people are really slutty on the inside. The boss I just beat was a stripper and the entire dungeon was a strip club haha

I can also buy and read books at night, and I ended up reading a book about a girl at her first day at school in a new town. “Vampires are involved” it said, then continued that the book was almost physically painful to read. Hahaha I’m pretty sure that’s a huge shot at Twilight, and that makes it hilarious.

I friended a punk guy and we’re talking about how he needs to be nicer to people… he gets angry at the waiter for not bringing his food yet, saying he’s going to tear the place down. Then he looks at me and remembers the “nice” part, and goes on to say that he’s going to tear the place down and build a place twice as nice. “I’ll RENOVATE your ass!” Haha greatest threat ever.

Hahaha, the tough guy everyone thinks is gay got asked his opinion on a cute guy. He said “oh… I get it. What you’re really asking is… ‘Will you please beat the shit out of me, Kanji?” I love this game

Ahhhhhh this week has been really hectic, but I’m here!

I went to the dentist this morning… to get some cavities filled. Not like on the tooth, but in between the back ones, where I can’t even tell they exist. The dentist put some stuff in my mouth to make it numb and it was numb for hours and hours I was starving and couldn’t eat because I kept accidentally biting my lip. At least it didn’t hurt when I did… I also talked like an idiot for a while haha

I got PERSONA 4. It’s pretty good, but really hard. In P3, they would heal me completely when I went to the dungeon entrance… now they don’t, AT ALL… anyway, I have a little sister in the game, and SHE IS SO ADORABLE There’s this department store in the game that has a tv jingle, and she sings along with it when it comes on AWWWW ~Every day’s great at your Junes!~

I bought a lot of baking stuff, so I’m all ready for Christmas cookies! And I got marshmallows for my evil fondant plans… I reeeeally hope that turns out well

Anyway, I’ll write more later, but right now I have some serious Persona plans.

I added a bunch of stuff to my wishlist, so if you haven’t already, you gotta go buy something before they run out! I already had to replace the really really cool faucet light since yesterday. It changes colors with heat

I watched Heroes today and it was REALLY sweet, what with the deaths and all PERMANENT ONES?!?! Also, “CAKE?” That was hilarious. And Claire managing to not be a huge bitch! Yeah!

I finally found my video tapes so I can get some videos all edited and stuff I know you’re excited!!

I’m pretty excited that one of my friends started playing Persona 3, after I suggested it months ago. I keep dumping random information on him. It’s a complicated game…

Persona 4 came out today!! But I have a lot of work stuff to do, so I think I’m going to hold off for a week. I know, that’s like forever, but I make great personal sacrifices for you guys… plus I have no idea what it’s like so I can’t crave it yet. Except it has an average score of 97% across many sites ahhh.
