Okay, I’m reading a book by Steven Pinker called The Language Instinct, because I’m all interested in that. This guy’s a famous psychologist, in terms of writing books that people read (not journal articles and studies and stuff). Anyway, he wrote a whole chapter weakly refuting the idea of linguistic relativism. Such! Crap! He kept telling the reader that because we’re so smart we’d obviously see the infinite wisdom of his words, because clearly anyone that disagrees is in the Dark Ages of thinking! Hey, way to appeal to my emotions to make me agree with you, but it didn’t work. Arg. I get worked up about language.

So I was saying in my cam show that I was thinking of putting up screenshots from some of my videos. I have a program that screenshots the whole video for me so I can pick out the pictures I want to be the preview on the site… but I usually get a whole bunch of good ones that I bet you would like. Yes? No?

Hahaha. I was in my dual cam show today and one of the rowdy guys kept whining at me (because they all pretty much get in there and start shouting demands at me), and uhhh I fuckin’ baaannnnedddd him. After I got his attention. We had a good time laughing about him. And then the mod had to help me kick another guy… because he kept complaining about how he couldn’t hear anything I told him to stop! He was warned. The user list kept moving around so he was slip sliding around and I couldn’t click on his name

I finally uploaded a second video to the member network. Except it’s uhhh not of me. Once I decide which video’s going up on Tuesday, I’ll post a preview clip

My skates are really close They don’t mess around when they say 2-day shipping!! They will not bring it any sooner than that!! Never mind that it’s the weekend…

My apartment is FREEZING!!!! I forgot how cold it was because I had my big fuckoff robe on, and then when it got dark and time for my cam show, I went to take it off and immediately started freezing. It seems that my landlord didn’t turn my heat on yet. I should uhh get them to do that. So… cold! I tried wearing gloves during the show, but that lasted like 5 minutes… sorry if you were there and had to watch me rub myself down in an attempt to warm up

My brains are scrambled from reading all this Presidential stuff. There are certain aspects of it that are just a trainwreck that you just can’t look away from.

We got something new in the webcam room all set up I think it’s a nice balance between having a nice add-on and not forcing you guys to go log in somewhere else or whatever that other nonsense is.

Ummmm so I just discovered that I can split up these huge video files on my computer and finally get them off onto a separate hard drive (which caps at 4gb a file so I couldn’t move them before). That’s like… a free 30gb of space now on my computer!!

Also, those cars that kept going off yesterday?? Yeah, they’re still broken. I don’t mean continuously since yesterday. About three or four times today they’ve gone off. I assume they’re broken, or else the owners or people around here are assholes. But I’m hoping they don’t go off during tomorrow’s show, or else someone’s going to feel my unholy wrath. No one interrupts myyy show.

Okay I’m almost done with A Canticle for Leibowitz. I passed the second story, and I only have about 40 pages left!!

What I didn’t get to explain in the cam show before I left all abruptly: My friends’ power is on the fritz and they’re just WITHOUT POWER! So I told them to call me if their phone’s about to die so they can come charge it. And then they called at the cam show, so I had to take it or else it would just… die. Soooo sorry about that!! Gotta make sure people have their phones if nothing else (like, say, running fridges)

What a nice day… I played Persona 3 for a while, probably a few hours, still trying to catch up to where I was before I got the expansion and had to start over. I’m not CHEATING, but I am using a guide to get through the social dating stuff… these needy bitches are always doing something or other and get all offended if I tell them to shove it. The good thing about dating them is that I presumably get laid at the end and then I get to date other girls immediately like nothing ever happened. I’m sleeeeazy.

My cam show went well again tonight I like when you guys are all in there talking to me!! I love putting on a little dance for you Mostly it’s my fingers doing the dancing…

What up homiessssssssssssss yeah I went shopping tonight and it was terrible I hate shopping for pants, it’s horribly difficult to find anything in my size. Mostly it involved me draggggging my feet. I mentioned it in my cam show, but I thought it was worth mentioning again because it made me a little zoned out for the rest of the night (yeah, the one thing to completely wipe my mind is outdoor clothes shopping).

It’s always nice to do my cam shows after difficult times I find it so relaxing to talk to people!

Of course, a hot picture for a hot day, too…

I had the chat room window open for my cam show, and I was about to turn on the cam, when there was a knock on my door. It was the guys coming to take out the extra bed (it came furnished but I have a bed) and dresser (same). Not only did I tell them to call before they came, but they assured me they would come on Monday So I was completely held up by these two dudes hauling furniture out, but now my bedroom is finally not a disaster. Once I sort out all my clothes, that is.

Super Stardust is pretty sweet with the expansion. I noticed they changed up the actual game in addition to the new modes. I mean, I’ve played this game a lot, and it was repetitious, but now it’s all tweaked and ready to master all over again. I’m only in the top 5000 for the game though (out of a lot more), and the guys with the top scores are always some dicks that had to cheat, I mean come on, your score is not a TRILLION.

I’m really sleeeeepy. I’m hoping that the bruises on my knees heal up by tomorrow morning. I can dream, right?

I’m drifting off to sleep… my eyes are heavy… but I thought I might mention all the exciting things I did today, like go to the post office, eat fried chicken (and mashed potatoes and biscuits), and have my cam show. Laaalalaa hmmm I started reading another sci-fi book called We, but it turned out to be a dystopian book with undertones of Communist Russia social commentary, so I’ve abandoned it as a lost cause, as I’m all dystopia’ed out for a lifetime.

I still have tan lines on my feet from where I’ve been wearing my flipflops. It’s still hot out, so I wore them again Will they ever go back to normal? They’ve been there for months now and I think even more pronounced these days. I look at them amazedly, as if maybe I’m a little bit tan all over and just can’t tell.
