I read Death of a Salesman straight through today. I’ve read The Crucible before, also by Arthur Miller, so I knew it was going to be good. This play was a little depressing… about a guy who’s 60 and realizes that he’s still living paycheck to paycheck… on commission and not selling as well as he used to. His sons are 30 and are lazy and jobless, but he still thinks that if they just get a loan they’re going to strike it rich. I don’t know whether to hate him or pity him. On one hand, he can’t provide for his family and will probably get his possessions taken away… on the other hand, he planned his life poorly and when given two opportunities for better jobs, he turned them down for pride or comfort. He doesn’t understand business at all and expects handouts. But he really doesn’t know any better, so… ? I don’t know, it was good but the characters made me mad

Genius commentary, right? I’m sure most people don’t need an in-depth review of the play… I would recommend The Importance of Being Earnest if you’re going to read a play I also enjoyed The Shape of Things, which was made into a nice movie with Rachel Weisz. Go get it!

I’m slowly figuring out how to do cool video effects, and I’m going to have some free time coming up soon to work on that I love doing actual editing, like the work I put into my trailer made me really happy. If you haven’t noticed by now, I’m kind of a workaholic… it just kind of rolls off me, because I want to stay busy all the time. Actually, I had an employer that hired me for web design stuff that ended up driving me crazy, but in general, working on my computer is basically what I want to do with my day. It’s not like I don’t take a break every hour to go read the Superficial, or forums, or whatnot

Last.fm is a great site. You get a program that you can use with whatever music program you use, or ipod, or zune, or whatever (there’s a lot of different ones), and it sends the song to the site and shows you weekly and overall charts. It’s very cool You can see I have overall charts already, but since it’s a new account it looks a little lopsided. I’m sure it’ll look more like my tastes in a month.

For whatever reason, youtube keeps recommending some video from November about Twilight… fans are still commenting on it as recent as hours ago saying it’s their life. Here is one comment:

I have been soooo busy lately. I have to schedule my flight and hotel for Phoenix very soon. The main hotel is booked so I have to figure out which other one would be best. I will have to get it all nailed down tomorrow.

I had a steak in the fridge that was threatening to go bad, so I made it for dinner, with mashed potatoes, broccoli, and cheddar biscuits About halfway through I realized that it was going to be a somewhat painful experience with my teeth being really sore, but it turned out okay. The broccoli was this steamed broccoli in a microwaveable bag… the instructions on the back say to put the broccoli into a serving dish when it’s ready. I just have to wonder if it originally read “Pour into serving dish; don’t just eat it out of the bag, you slob, I KNOW YOU WERE GOING TO.”

I also tried out frozen strawberries… well I let them thaw first… but they are definitely not as good as the real deal. I can’t wait for strawberries to be in season (read: on sale) again

Okay I am exhausted, time for bed

I’ve been going through my panty drawer and through popular demand I’m going to start selling them!!

I think I’ve worn all my panties at some point or another in a video or photo set

So what I want you guys to do, if you want a pair of panties, is tell me which ones you might be interested in, while I figure out where I should sell them… maybe post a picture or something to help me out!

You can request some other piece of clothing but also keep in mind I’ve borrowed some of Natalie’s stuff from time to time

OH YEAH:

I also want to sell SIGNED PHOTOS!! Since I don’t know what pictures anyone wants and I don’t have a photo printer, it will probably take a little longer, so start collecting photos you might want signed!! I’ll make sure the quality of the original is good enough to print

Actually the orthodontist assistant scolded me because they don’t tighten it, they put on a thicker wire…

Anyway, I went in a week early because of this gap forming between my teeth since I got my braces. They said it was normal and that they’d be shaping my teeth back to get rid of it, and then offered to put on a new wire a week early Oh la la. I’m going to pretend that it’s going to reduce the amount of time I need to have them on by a week. I’ll be done in no time!! Tomorrow, maybe??

I had soup so I haven’t experienced the pain of the new wire yet. I’m scared
