I saw this inside the Nintendo DS manual:

What is this!!! This is a highly inefficient way to plug something in! If you plug this into the top outlet, the bottom will surely be blocked! Nintendo is trying to promote bad plugging habits!

I just listened to an opera episode of The Simpsons. Oh, Simpsons. What won’t you do.
