Today is also pretty good, because today… I finally learned how to ice skate. Maybe they sharpened the blades, because they felt really good. And during class I found out that the next move to learn was something I had already done on my own because it felt fun. It’s called slalom, or zigzaging across the ice like you see skiers do. It’s a much faster way of moving, and seeing that I was ahead of the class, finally, made me feel really good 
I’m also to the point where I can stretch out my legs without wanting to fall over.
So I celebrated by buying some pretzels, and on the way there was a little farmer’s market set up, and I got a bunch of peppers and sweet italian plums. It was funny trying to get information out of them… it’s like they only ever eat what they grow, because I couldn’t for the life of me get them to tell me exactly how sweet the plums were and how hot the peppers were. They were both like “Oh… I don’t know… pretty sweet/hot.” I guess we’ll see when I make chili out of them, right?? (The peppers, that is!)
What a nice day… I played Persona 3 for a while, probably a few hours, still trying to catch up to where I was before I got the expansion and had to start over. I’m not CHEATING, but I am using a guide to get through the social dating stuff… these needy bitches are always doing something or other and get all offended if I tell them to shove it. The good thing about dating them is that I presumably get laid at the end and then I get to date other girls immediately like nothing ever happened. I’m sleeeeazy.

I keep getting this song in my head because of the civilization revolution music. It has this one part that sounds like Regina Spektor. Not even one of the better-known or recent ones. A bizarre one. Did you know that the German word for a “song that gets stuck in your head” is Ohrwurm? Yeah, they made a whole word for it.

Blech, I’m listening to a book called A Canticle For Leibowitz. It was interesting at first, but it is refusing to pick up. And now I’m in the second part of it, and it’s pretty much just a rewriting of the fall of the Roman Empire to now… I wanna just skipppp to the enddddd
There’s a pretzel shop some blocks away and I bought some for my tummy Pretzzzzeeeellllllls are delicious!
I keep staying up late. I should probably attempt going to bed around midnight instead of 2am. Bah.
Just for the record, I have never heard ANYONE laugh out loud at That 70s Show. I don’t understand why people watch it…
Ummm so apparently the dudes at my website’s office just got hit with a hurricane… let’s hope nothing breaks :D? I hope everyone is okay that lost power (and water!), and that means you!! (maybe)

Awww, I didn’t have my phone on today. I can’t tell how many miles I walked. It was probably a lot. I walk a ton when I go to my skating class, in the blaaazing heat. Soon it’ll be winter and I’ll be missing the warm 
I’m baaaaaaaack. It ended up being really hot and sunny all day, so while it was easy to take down the tents, there was also a lot of feet-dragging. But I finally extracted my Persona 3 save game from one of the people I was camping with, and I played for probably 3 hours I’m still way behind from the point I was on the original game, and it takes a really long time for time to pass. I can easily spend 15 minutes on each day in the game, and I’m something like 4 months behind
I also finally got my curtains up, so no more peeping! I have to redo them because I didn’t notice the screws and hooks at the bottom of the package, so the rod is precariously balancing, waiting for a single tug.
It’s waaay windy tonight, and I can feel the wind every single time it blows fiercely against the window. Very windy!
People are all proud of me for being out here and roughing it. I guess I don’t really camp all that much 
The worst thing out here are the spiders… there aren’t even rodents around here. Of course, we’re on a plain and not in the forest, so it’s a lot safer, if not a lot wetter. It stopped raining after all the tents were set up and had to be dried out. I’m just hanging out and writing this down for when I get back, but I’m glad to not be staring at screens right about now. Just nice sunsets and grass and whatnot. I left a lot of dumb drama behind that I’m glad to be rid of.

Well I’m going out into the wilderness today for a teeny little vacation. It’s raining, though I’m supposed to be going with a group of friends, and they’re being sloooooow so I’m playing Stardust woo woooooo. I got a trophy for lasting 7 minutes on Endless mode without dying once. It’s pretty hard… I kept going for 2-4 minutes and thinking I went a lot longer.
I’ve been sure to pack up all the essentials for my camping trip, like uhhh beef jerky… and cheez-its.. no more like cool camp lights and towels and glow sticks. And a portable grill :O And my rain pants

What up homiessssssssssssss yeah I went shopping tonight and it was terrible I hate shopping for pants, it’s horribly difficult to find anything in my size. Mostly it involved me draggggging my feet. I mentioned it in my cam show, but I thought it was worth mentioning again because it made me a little zoned out for the rest of the night (yeah, the one thing to completely wipe my mind is outdoor clothes shopping).
It’s always nice to do my cam shows after difficult times I find it so relaxing to talk to people!
Of course, a hot picture for a hot day, too…
How does a deaf person think, if they cannot hear the words in their head? I don’t know how I came to asking myself that, but I know that when I read and write, I hear the pronunciation of each word. It gives form to my thoughts. What form do thoughts take when they have no sound? I know many deaf people have difficulty speaking because they can’t hear their own voice to regulate the sound, nor have they heard the original words. Can you imagine a syllable if you never heard sound?
I don’t mean my posts to randomly go into “*takes a hit* Dude…………. have you ever, like, considered death? It’s blowing my mind, man…” territory, but uhhh sometimes my mind is blown.
