I went to the farmer’s market and got a bunch of vegetables… I didn’t know what I got, but I got a lot of it. I had to ask my friend that’s really into cooking to identify some of the stuff. Here are all the vegetables that I personally didn’t know the names of until tonight:

Endive

Basil?!

Beets. Yeah I have no excuse for not being able to identify them on sight except for “I’ve never had one before”

Cabbage. I don’t eat a lot of cabbage? Ever?

She had all sorts of suggestions for making food with it all. She’s good at that. I’m not so good at making new things, though… especially with the eggplant, which looks scary. There are some great-looking garlic cloves that I’m excited to have And corn!
