I’m trying to read Neuromancer, but it’s soooo boring. It’s a total buzzkill. I’m going to try reading on actual pages. And listen to some other book while I’m out and about. Probably another Margaret Atwood novel, to see if the writing’s similar at all. Otherwise I’m just gonna start listening to some non-fiction books again

That’s too bad that you aren’t enjoying Neuromancer. Some of Gibson’s allusions are pretty lame and not worth decyphering, but I find the prose poetic in an edgy way. I actually got “EmpNorton” from a game based on Neuromancer. You might want to give Burning Chrome a try. It’s a bunch of short stories by Gibson that may be more enjoyable.
